Our Love Story

At the beginning of a new semester at a small college in Arizona two people walked into class and sat down next to each other, not knowing that they had just met their best friend and soon to be love of their life. 

In fact, it took us awhile to realize it!  We sat next to each other for the entire semester and became friends. When the semester ended and summer came we each went our own way until we came back for the next school year.  When we saw each other again at an opening social something clicked.  Building on our friendship we began dating and it didn't take us long to realize how much we liked each other! Soon we became inseparable.  While we were dating we loved to play games, watch movies, go on walks or bike rides, and just spend hours talking.  We believe one of the reasons our relationship is so strong is because we are truly are one another's best friends. 

We dated for five months until Sam proposed at Disneyland during Spring Break.  Sam: I got down on one knee and I was so nervous, and my hands were shaking so badly I dropped the ring.  Then I picked it up and I couldn't remember what finger it went on!

We went with a large group of family and friends who were there to celebrate the moment with us. We spent the entire vacation telling everyone we saw that we had just gotten engaged.  Hey, some people let us skip ahead in the lines! 

Brie: A proposal at Disneyland was perfect! I felt like a princess!

We were married for time and all eternity in the Snowflake Temple.  It was an absolutely beautiful wedding day shared with our family and close friends.

Having an eternal marriage has greatly blessed our lives.  We find so much joy in knowing that we will be together forever. 

That is how our love story began.  It's wonderful to know that there is still so much more to write in our story.  We hope you will become a part of it.
