I love working with my hands. Woodworking is one of my hobbies. I have built several furniture pieces for our home including a book shelf, a pot rack, and our entire bedroom set. I don't get to do woodworking as much as I would like right now, but someday I hope to have a nice big workshop where I can work on all kinds of projects.
I graduated from Brigham Young University in December 2010 with a degree in Facility and Property Management. I currently work as a Facility Engineer for the LDS Church. It is incredible being able to spend my days in the temple. One thing that I love to do is fix things- anything from lamps or hair dryers to furniture and computers and I get to do that on a daily basis. The job definitely has days when it is not the most glamorous, but it is always pretty awesome.
One of my favorite things to do is anything to make Brie laugh. She is such a good sport too. She is probably the only one that would laugh at some of my dumb jokes. Sometimes I will sing in a funny voice, or way off key on purpose. On particular day in church she nudged me in the ribs and said "sing normal!" Here's the funny part, I was singing normal! I guess singing isn't really something that should be added to my list of talents.

Sam according to Brie:
Sam is the greatest and best part of my life. He is incredibly patient and easy going. I admire him for all his abilities and talents, and all the things he can do that I can't! I mean, come on, he built a computer! Sam is incredibly hard working and I know I can always rely on him to be a good provider for our family. I am truly grateful that he honors his priesthood and helps keep our home centered on the gospel. He is sweet, caring, and very funny! I always laugh when I am with him and he can make even the simplest things fun! I know Sam will be a wonderful dad and he is always talking about all the things he looks forward to doing with his children. I love his blue eyes and how his arms feel wrapped around me. I love our long talks and sweet kisses. Sam really is the best person I know!
